The World Macedonian Congress – Australia is the Australian arm of the World Macedonian Congress, an international, non-governmental, non-party affiliated, non-profit organization and an Informal Parliament of the Macedonians from all parts of Macedonia throughout the world.
PURPOSES AND PRINCIPLES:
Protection, affirmation and continuation of the Macedonian ethnic, cultural, and national identity.
Protection and promotion of the Macedonian language, heritage and history.
Reinforcing the spiritual, cultural and economic unity of the Macedonian people throughout the world with the added aim of protecting the unity of the Macedonian State.
Promoting, encouraging and respecting the human rights and fundamental freedoms for all Macedonian people in all parts of Macedonia, irrespective of current political borders and to promote the right to democratic principles for the Macedonian people.
Protection and affirmation of the purposes and principles of the United Nations.
